Job summary

Flex in Milpitas, CA, seeks a Buyer Direct 3 to join the Global Procurement & Supply Chain team. You’ll manage procurement of direct materials and ensure material availability to support manufacturing, reporting to the Procurement Manager.

Key responsibilities include negotiating with suppliers, optimizing inventory, and driving cost savings. The ideal candidate has ERP/MRP experience, advanced Excel skills, and strong cross‑functional collaboration capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of procurement or supply chain experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and inventory management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of direct materials and components to support production.
• Collaborate with suppliers on pricing, delivery, quality, and availability.
• Monitor inventory levels, shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence risk.
• Analyze procurement metrics and supplier performance for cost savings.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, planning, logistics, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies.
