Job summary

ICS Corporation is seeking a motivated Print Estimator to evaluate project specifications, prepare cost estimates, and determine materials, labor, equipment, and production processes for print and direct mail projects.

The role works with Sales, Client Services, Outsourcing, and vendors to develop competitive quotes and support pricing decisions, ensuring profitability while meeting project timelines in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple projects.
• Experience with commercial printing, direct mail, production estimating is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and quotes for printing, converting, and direct mail projects.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives to review customer requirements, project specs, and pricing expectations.
• Analyze job specs including quantities, stock, dimensions, finishing, methods, and mailing specs to determine costs.
• Calculate material usage, labor, machine time, outside services, and other production expenses.
• Review estimates for accuracy, margins, and profitability; communicate with vendors as needed.
