Prospect Capital seeks an Analyst for its Direct Lending and Buyout team on-site in New York. You will own performance analytics and portfolio data to inform credit evaluations and monitoring, working with senior investment professionals and supporting portfolio decisions by the CEO and President.

You will lead data integrations, automate reporting, and interface with deal teams and portfolio company executives to strengthen origination and analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in project coordination, operations, sales ops, research coordination, or consulting
• Undergraduate degree in business administration, operations management, finance, accounting, economics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or related field
• Working proficiency in Excel with clear reporting templates, tables and charts
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; accurate, high-quality work
• Clear, proactive communication with senior leaders and stakeholders
• Resourcefulness and sound judgment in gathering information and improving reporting
• Understanding of financial statements, loans and private equity structures preferred
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and manage priorities
• Proven track record of excellence in academics and professional endeavors

Responsabilités

• Lead system configuration, data integrations, report and dashboard development, and workflow improvements
• Automate and maintain standard and ad hoc reporting for senior leadership
• Interface with deal teams and portfolio company executives to capture data and strengthen origination coverage
• Build and manage internal data processes and analytics on past investments
• Support senior investment professionals with presentations and teasers
• Analyze underlying data with limited direction and extract business insights
• Present clearly to senior leaders and C-suite professionals
• Develop familiarity with Prospect's investment strategies, portfolio, and accounting systems
