You will collaborate with the design team to craft trend-forward accessories for women, teens, tweens, and young adults, and prepare CADs, tech packs, and color stories for production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field.
• Relevant soft goods or accessories category experience.
• Portfolio showcasing soft goods design for women’s and men’s products, with focus on girls’, teens’, tweens’ accessories.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design team to develop trend-forward accessories for women, teens, tweens, and young adults.
• Communicate with overseas development offices and production teams.
• Create designs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Research market trends and contribute ideas for new product concepts.
• Develop CADs, tech packs, line sheets, color stories, patterns, and colorways.
• Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and prototypes for production.
• Conduct quality-control checks on samples and finished products.
• Provide photo retouching support as needed.

We’re partnering with a well-established, accessories company with more than 100 years of industry experience. They’re looking for an experienced, hardworking, and motivated Soft Goods Accessories Designer to join their creative design and development team.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, proactive, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative, trend-forward accessories for women, teens, tweens, and young adults.
• Communicate with overseas development offices and production teams.
• Create designs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Research market trends and contribute ideas for new product concepts.
