Addison Group, a leading staffing firm based in Chicago, seeks a Direct Hire Recruiter to prospect candidates and clients in IT and Engineering.

You will build relationships, develop recruiting strategies, conduct interviews, and close placements while representing Addison Group professionally at all times. Prior agency experience and a four-year degree are required. This role offers uncapped commissions and weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Identify, network and sell to potential candidates and clients through recruiting strategies.
• Develop new business through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and other activities to generate deals.
• Schedule and attend candidate interviews and client meetings to close placements and expand business.
• Maintain relationships with candidates and clients to identify ongoing opportunities.
• Negotiate fees and terms to align with company goals and close deals.

The role of the Direct Hire Recruiter is primarily responsible for prospecting both new candidates and clients for the division for which they are hired. Qualified candidates must have staffing agency experience specifically within the IT and/or Engineering staffing space, as well as proven new business development experience. Direct Hire Recruiters must be able to identify and network with prospective job seekers and develop recruiting strategies for specific open client positions. Direct Hire Recruiters research and identify prospective users of permanent staffing firms and develop a marketing plan to break into new clients and develop existing clients.

What You’ll Do:

• Identify, network and sell to potential candidates/job seekers through creative recruiting strategy
• Research, identify and sell to potential business deals by contacting potential clients
• Develop new business through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and other business development activities
• Schedule and attend candidate interviews
• Schedule and attend client meetings to generate new business and expand current business
• Develop and maintain candidates and client relationships through cold calling/prospecting calls
• Negotiate fees/pay rates and close deals in accordance with company goals and expectations
• Represent Addison in a professional and positive manner in all interactions, including networking events and other activities outside of normal business hours
