Job summary

IQ Resource Group is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for a leading food production facility. The role covers day-to-day operations in the production area, following Plant Policies and Procedures and operating trained equipment to meet quality standards.

Shifts include 6am-6pm (Mon-Fri) and 6pm-6am (Mon-Fri); this is a direct hire position with starting pay of $19 per hour. Overtime and weekends may be required to hit production goals.

• Support supervisor and line lead as needed.

Role Overview:

The Machine Operator is responsible for day-to-day operations within the production department. Responsible for the production area in accordance with Plant Policies and Procedures. The Machine Operator is responsible for operation of the production equipment trained on.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine in accordance with plan policies and procedures.
• Operate machine to meets established goals while maintaining a safe work environment and quality standards.
• Will need to pass LOTO training
• Ability to efficiently work with minimum or no direct supervision.
• Responsible to meet shift production goals
• Active role in ensuring product quality.
• Operate within established standard operating procedures.
• Must be able to work overtime when required to do so.
• Ability to perform assigned tasks under time pressure.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently at the same time.
• Ability to read and fill out all paperwork.
• Maintain compliance of company policies and procedures, GMP’s, safety and quality standards, food safety measures, OSHA and other safety regulations.
• Take necessary action to eliminate delays, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Line Lead/Manager.
