Job summary

DuPont is seeking a Direct Form Operator at the Newark-Pencader, DE site to operate precision manufacturing equipment and produce high‑performance components for aerospace and transportation. Safety, quality, and discipline are essential in this fast‑paced team environment.

You will run press lines, perform in‑process inspections, document measurements, troubleshoot nonconforming parts, and maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills including measurement to thousandths and decimals.
• Ability to read and comprehend graphs, charts & tables.
• Mechanical aptitude using hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, data entry)

Responsibilities

• Operate press lines, sintering ovens, and tumbling equipment to meet production and quality requirements.
• Perform in-process inspections and record part dimensions per quality plans.
• Identify and troubleshoot nonconforming parts and support root cause resolution.
• Maintain process control through adherence to standard work and inspection requirements.
• Remove scrap material and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Accurately report production counts, labor, and required documentation.

DuPont is currently hiring a Direct Form Operator for our Newark-Pencader, DE site.The Direct Form Operator is responsible for operating precision manufacturing equipment to produce high-performance components used in critical applications such as aerospace and transportation. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational discipline while working in a team-oriented, fast-paced production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate press lines, sintering ovens, and tumbling equipment to meet production and quality requirements while maintaining local and corporate safety standards.
