These postings are for our **10pm - 6am shift** and our **2pm - 10pm shift****No Day shift openings presently**The Direct Form Operator is responsible for operating precision manufacturing equipment to produce high-performance components used in critical applications such as aerospace and transportation. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational discipline while working in a team-oriented, fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities* Operate press lines, sintering ovens, and tumbling equipment to meet production and quality requirements while maintaining local and corporate safety standards.* Perform in-process inspections and accurately record part dimensions per quality plans and customer specifications* Identify and troubleshoot nonconforming parts and support root cause resolution* Maintain process control through adherence to standard work and inspection requirements* Remove scrap material and maintain a clean and safe work environment* Accurately report production counts, labor, and required documentation* Perform basic equipment care and minor maintenance as needed Minimum Qualifications* High school diploma or GED required* Basic math skills including measurement to thousandths and decimals* Ability to read and comprehend graphs, charts & tables* Mechanical aptitude using hand and power tools* Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, data entry)* Ability to follow written instructions and procedures Preferred Qualifications* Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)* Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings* Manufacturing or skilled trades experience* Experience with powdered metal or resin presses* Understanding of SPC and process monitoring Work Environment & Physical Requirements* Standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks* Lifting up to approximately 40 lbs* Walking, bending, and stair climbing as needed* Shift work may be required Key Success Traits* Safety-focused mindset* Strong attention to detail and quality* Problem-solving capability* Team-oriented communication* Willingness to learn and develop skills* Accountability and ownership of work Additional Information* Shift schedules may vary based on business needs* Opportunities for progression and advancement within Direct Form Why Join Us* Work on high-performance products supporting advanced industries* Structured training and development opportunities* Collaborative team environmentJoin our Talent Community to stay connected with us!
