Job summary

This position works on a rotating 12-hour schedule, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities

• Material handling: includes taking samples, weighing and loading materials, packaging materials.
• Operation of production equipment and monitoring status of the production processes, while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Testing and documenting product specifications and calculating adjustments through use of various spreadsheets to meet customer specifications.
• Lifting and moving of up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, follow and execute all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining all necessary shift paperwork including written and electronic records.
• Maintain a clean workspace and environment 100% adherence to all safety practices and quality assurance systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Willing and able to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Willing and able to lift 50 lbs
• Willing and able to work on a 12-hour rotating schedule
• Willing and able to work overtime to meet business needs
• Basic computer knowledge
• Able to climb (stairs and ladders)
• Able to operate a forklift
• Able to use basic tools (pliers, wrenches, hand cart, dolly, etc.)
• Able to work outside in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, etc.)
• Able to pass medical and drug screening tests
• Able to provide coverage on weekends, evenings, nights and holidays as scheduled on a regular basis

Preferred skill sets

• Prior manufacturing experience
• Prior experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks, or like equipment
• Associates Degree or higher
• Experience using SAP Technical and/or Mechanical background
