Job summary

Faithful Home Care Solutions in Glenside, PA is seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers to support a client on weekends. You will provide personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship in the client’s home.

The role requires empathy, patience, and reliability. A valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check are necessary. Training and ongoing support are provided by a supportive office team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (HHA/DCW/PCA).
• Experience with COPD is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene support.
• Meal prep and light housekeeping.
• Assist with errands and appointments.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and communicate with family.

What You’ll Do

• Personal care: bathing, grooming, hygiene

• Meal preparation and light housekeeping

• Sweeping, washing dishes, laundry, taking out trash

• Assistance with appointments and running errands

• Grocery shopping as needed

• Providing companionship and emotional support

• Maintaining a safe, comfortable home environment

• Communicating with the client’s family and care team

• Follow the care plan and complete assigned tasks

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an HHA, DCW, or PCA

• The client has COPD, so experience caring for clients with respiratory conditions is a plus.

• Patient, reliable, attentive, and compassionate

• Prior caregiving experience preferred

• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation & current auto insurance

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to pass a background check

• Current TB test

Schedule: Weekend day shift, Saturday or Sunday
Hours: 5-hour shift
Available Shifts: 11:00 AM–4:00 PM or 12:00 PM–5:00 PM
