Job summary

Visiting Nurse Association Community Services in Pennsylvania seeks a Home Health Aide (HHA) / Direct Care Worker to deliver compassionate in-home support. You will follow client care plans and work closely with clients to promote safety and independence.

The role requires 18+ years old, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, reliable, and good communication. Flexible schedule, paid training, and in-person work are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care.

• Friendly, patient, and respectful with a sincere interest in caring for others.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical caregiving tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care: bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, feeding, oral hygiene, nail care, shaving.
• Provide mobility support: ambulation, transferring, positioning, use of assistive devices.
• Support physical therapy plans: supervise passive/active exercises as directed.
• Monitor and communicate changes in physical or emotional health.
• Perform light housekeeping: laundry, tidying bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms.
• Prepare meals (special diets), shop for groceries, and restock supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Use PPE when appropriate and follow safety protocols.
• Document care and submit timely reports via telephony system.

What You'll Do:

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Valid driver's license, insured vehicle in good repair, and clean driving record

• Must be able to work at least two weekends per month as scheduled
