Direct Care Worker / Cook - Millcreek of Poplarville / Full Time / M-F

Join our team as a Direct Care Worker / Cook at Millcreek of Poplarville. This is a full-time position with a schedule from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must meet requirements for the Millcreek Motor Vehicle Safety Program, if driving is required
• Willing to work flexible hours
• Completion of HCBS training and ongoing education

• Assess and address the needs, desires, and interests of participants
• Assist participants in utilizing community, family, and social supports
• Help develop and maintain relationships with community members and family
• Support daily life management and teach necessary skills
• Ensure safety and well-being of participants at all times
• Complete documentation and reports accurately and timely
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report issues
• Assist in developing and implementing individual plans
• Transport participants safely to community activities
• Adhere to all safety, policy, and program guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
