Job summary

NeuLife Rehabilitation of Michigan is seeking a Direct Care Worker to assist adults with traumatic brain injuries in a home- and community-based care setting.

You will help residents develop daily living skills, support independence, and contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered team environment. The shift schedule includes 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am with rotating weekends, and compensation is hourly at $16–$17.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to stand, bend, and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Motivates and encourages clients with acquired brain injury to progress at home and in the community.
• Assists clients with activities of daily living.
• Supports clients by preparing for the day and helping them get to work, therapy, and appointments.
• Performs range of motion exercises and household tasks essential to home health care.
