Centre for Neuro Skills is hiring a Caregiver/Direct Care professional to support individuals with brain injuries in activities of daily living and therapeutic home programs. The role is based in a residential setting with opportunities to engage patients in social and community activities.

You will supervise and train patients, ensure safety, and document progress while working a PRN shift schedule. Starting pay includes daily pay options and potential growth with continuing education.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License, with a clean driving record.
• Successful completion of a drug screen, health screen, and criminal record check (fingerprints) for caregiver positions.

Responsabilités

• Teach, monitor, administer and document individual patient programs including ADL's and therapeutic home programs in English.
• Perform bed, bath, toilet, and chair transfers (up to 20 times per shift) using approved transfer techniques.
• Ensure for the safety of patients, visitors, staff, and yourself when interacting with patients who may have behavioral outbursts, which can include yelling, exiting, hitting, kicking, biting, spitting, scratching, and throwing objects.
