Job summary

All-American-Home-Care-8 is seeking a Direct Caregiver to provide essential support to clients at home in Wind Gap, PA. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and medication reminders while promoting comfort, safety, and independence.

You will work closely with family members and healthcare professionals to follow care plans and ensure a compassionate, reliable, and patient approach in a home care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Certification as HHA or CNA if required by state regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility, including transferring, repositioning, and using mobility aids.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist with medication reminders (if permitted by regulations).
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying living areas.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition to appropriate personnel.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, or social activities if needed.
• Follow care plans and work closely with family members and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
