Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Direct Caregiver to provide essential support for individuals needing help with daily living activities. You will help maintain comfort, safety and dignity while promoting independence in their living environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, meals, companionship, medication reminders, light housekeeping and reporting changes to the care team. Flexible scheduling may apply across various care settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior caregiving experience (preferred but not always required).
• Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) (if required by state regulations).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.

• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying living areas.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition to appropriate personnel.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, or social activities if needed.
• Follow care plans and work closely with family members and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
