You will provide direct care, supervision, and assistance to clients in a structured, community-based setting to promote independence and social engagement.

The role involves implementing client-specific activities, documenting progress, and collaborating with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual/behavioral needs preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass background screenings and complete online training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to individuals with IB needs.

Position Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Care Support Professionals to join our Adult Day Training (ADT) program serving individuals with intellectual and behavioral (IB) needs. In this role, you will provide direct support, supervision, and assistance to clients in a structured, community-based setting. You will play a key role in promoting independence, social engagement, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and supervision to individuals with intellectual and behavioral needs
• Assist clients with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and personal care as needed
• Create and implement skill-building exercises, lessons, and conversations that align with individual client goals
• Facilitate individual and small-group activities
• Support clients during community outings and social activities
• Assist and maintain supervision of multiple clients during transport to and from group homes and ADT as needed
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all
• Accurately document daily progress notes, behavior data, and incident reports
• Communicate effective with team members, supervisors, and clients

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or behavioral challenges preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to change and remain patient, flexible, calm, and professional in all situations
• Ability to pass Level 1 and 2 background screenings
• Ability to complete required online training prior to starting employment
• Reliable transportation needed to and from work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
