Job summary

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts seeks a Direct Care Worker III at the Hogan Regional Center in Danvers. You will provide direct care, support daily living activities, and assist individuals with developmental disabilities to participate in community life.

Responsibilities include implementing programs, supervising staff when needed, transporting individuals, and maintaining records. Requires MAP/CPR/First Aid certs and a valid MA Class D license; full-time with variable shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the needs of persons with developmental/intellectual disabilities and their families.
• Ability to give clear written or verbal instructions and coordinate activities.
• Must pass Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification after completing training.
• Possess a valid Class D Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assist habilitative, behavioral and recreational programs and related duties.
• Provide direct care and aid in daily living and community life.
• Drive individuals to work, appointments and outings as needed.
• Maintain confidential records and report abuse or incidents.
• Monitor and supervise staff as shift supervisor when assigned.
