Job summary

Miracle Houses Inc is seeking a Youth Care Worker to positively influence the lives of children and youth. This role requires compassion and a proactive, self-starting attitude to support families and maintain professional conduct.

Responsibilities include mentoring youth, coordinating group activities, and ensuring accurate documentation. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Services is preferred, with at least two years of relevant experience with ages 6–17.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years population-specific experience working with children ages 6-17 is preferred.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred
• Minimum of two years population specific experience working with children ages 6-17 is preferred

Physical Requirements

There may be regular contact with clients who demonstrate challenging behavior. Therefore, the incumbent should maintain sufficient physical agility to rapidly extricate themselves and clients from building in case of emergency.

Additional Requirements

The incumbent must be teachable and willing to learn. Must have a valid NC driver's license with a good driving record. Must be able to demonstrate effective self-regulation strategies.
