Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is hiring full-time and part-time caregivers in Fairmont, MN. You’ll assist people with personal care and support individuals with behavioral challenges, helping them live well and participate in their community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma not required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise and nutrition.
