Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, is hiring caregivers to support individuals with developmental needs. You will build meaningful relationships, help participants live well, and contribute to a community-focused care environment.

Starting pay is $17/hour with full benefits for full-time roles, and a supportive team that values patient, compassionate care and reliability.

Qualifications

• Education: No High School Diploma required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
