Responsibilities

• Assist with assessment of clients' strengths and needs.
• Assist with meal preparation and provide client training.
• Communicate needs to supervisor to revise training objectives.
• Maintain facility in a neat and orderly manner.
• Monitor and document individual behaviors using specific terms.
• Encourage independence and participation in activities.
• Provide positive assurance regarding benefits of treatment.
• Promote a learning environment through hands-on instruction and guidance.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude; address complaints and prioritize patient safety.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
