Job summary

NeuLife Rehabilitation of Michigan is seeking a Direct Care Worker to support persons served in achieving independence and daily living goals in a home health setting. You will deliver compassionate, person-centered care in a team-based environment, assisting with daily living activities and helping clients get to work, therapy, and appointments.

Open interviews are 11:00 AM–3:00 PM on 11/18 and 12/16. Requirements include High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and CPR

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Motivates and encourages clients to progress in the home environment and community.
• Assists clients with activities of daily living.
• Helps prepare clients for the day and transport them to work, therapy, and appointments.
• Performs range of motion exercises.
• Accompanies clients to events and activities.
