You'll assist with activities of daily living, implement personalized support plans, and monitor health and behavior—all while maintaining meticulous records to ensure we meet the highest standards of care. As a primary caregiver and advocate, your commitment makes a world of difference. Minimum requirements for the position are:

• Be 18 years or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Possess at least one year of verifiable experience working directly with individuals receiving services in a medical, psychiatric, nursing, or childcare setting,or working with recipients who have a developmental disability.
  • Instead of the required work experience, applicants may have 30 semester hours, 45 quarter-hours, or 720 classroom hours of college or vocational school.
• APD requires a Level II Background Check.
• Staff must complete online and in-person training to become certified as a Direct Care Provider.
