Job summary

People Incorporated is hiring Direct Care Professionals for evenings to support adults with developmental disabilities in residential settings. The role offers ongoing paid training, advancement opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package in the Southcoast region including Fall River and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Be compassionate and enjoy helping others.
• Must have a qualifying criminal background check and driving record.
• Valid driver’s license and use of personal vehicle.
• TB screening and update required every two years.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program.
• Assist with daily living activities and maintain a structured routine.
• Coordinate community outings and meal preparation.
• Provide personal care and accompany medical appointments.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / hour
$22.00 / hour (after one year of benefit eligible employment)

What do I need to join the team?

• A TB screening and Physical is required upon hire and a TB update every two years after

What Does the Job Entail?

You will be part of a team supporting adults with development disabilities in a residential program. Direct Care Professionals provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine that includes:

• Individual community outings
• Meal preparation
• Assistance with activities of daily living
• Personal care
• Medical appointments

What are Community Outings?

As a Direct Care Professional, you will provide opportunities for individuals to integrate into the community and enjoy outings that interest them. Examples of some outings are:

• The Movies
• Shopping
• Going to Dinner
• Baseball Game
• Bowling
