Responsibilities

• Create a safe, welcoming environment for residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents and guardians through respectful communication.
• Assist with planning and participating in activities.
• Provide direct personal care and daily living support.
• Pass and administer medications and take vital signs as required.
• Support residents with challenging behaviors using patience and redirection.
• Advocate for residents' rights, independence, dignity, and well-being.
• Communicate concerns to management and collaborate with the team.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and professionalism.
• Participate in training and complete other assigned duties.

What You'll Do

• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where residents feel valued and supported
• Build positive relationships with residents and their guardians through respectful, compassionate communication
• Assist with planning, organizing, and participating in fun, engaging activities
• Provide direct personal care and support residents with daily living needs and mobility
• Pass and administer medications and take vital signs as required
• Support residents through challenging behaviors using patience, empathy, redirection, and positive, non-punitive approaches
• Advocate for residents' rights, independence, dignity, and well-being
• Communicate concerns or challenges to management and work collaboratively with the team
• Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism
• Participate in training, follow supervisory guidance, and complete other assigned duties as needed
