Flatrock Manor seeks compassionate, patient caregivers to support adults with special needs in a safe and respectful environment. You will build relationships with residents and guardians, assist with daily activities, and help manage challenging behaviors with empathy.

This role emphasizes dignity, rights advocacy, and teamwork within a professional care setting. Training and supervision are provided to ensure high-quality resident care.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Build positive relationships with residents and guardians through compassionate communication.

• Provide direct personal care and support daily living needs and mobility.
• Pass and administer medications and take vital signs as required.

• Advocate for residents’ rights, independence, dignity, and well-being.
• Communicate concerns to management and collaborate with the team.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold professionalism.
• Participate in training and follow supervisory guidance.

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct personal care and support residents with daily living needs and mobility.
• Pass and administer medications and take vital signs as required.
• Support residents through challenging behaviors using patience, empathy, redirection, and positive, non-punitive approaches.
• Advocate for residents’ rights, independence, dignity, and well-being.
• Communicate concerns or challenges to management and work collaboratively with the team.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
• Participate in training, follow supervisory guidance, and complete other assigned duties as needed.
