Job summary

Covenant Case Management Services is seeking compassionate Direct Care Support Professionals to provide one-on-one care for individuals with intellectual disabilities in home and community settings.

You will assist with daily living activities, ensure safety, and support transportation to the DayCenter, emphasizing dignity and person-centered care. This role offers respite hours, a supportive team, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support, assistance, and companionship.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Ensure the individual's safety and well-being in the home and community.
• Transport the individual to and from the DayCenter.
• Assist the individual in completing daily living activities, including toileting, dressing, and supervision.
• Work with the individual at the DayCenter.
