Job summary

Berkshire County Arc is seeking Direct Care Professionals to assist individuals with daily living, personal care, housekeeping and transportation to appointments and activities on a full-time, hourly basis in residential settings.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year of Direct Care experience and a valid driver's license with insured vehicle; up to 80% health care paid and a $1,000 sign-on bonus are highlighted benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Must have 1+ year Direct Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Professionals assist individuals in all areas of daily living including personal care, housekeeping, cooking, and bringing to appointments and recreational activities.
• This position works closely with individuals to help them to become as independent as possible and to meet their personal goals.
• Staff must maintain accurate and complete records, reports and data necessary to meet the requirements of BCArc and any certifying or regulatory agency.
• Effective communication with other staff, family members and Individuals is required.
