Job summary

Helping People Excel, Inc. is hiring Direct Care Professionals to support adults with disabilities in group homes and the community. We offer multiple shifts: Part Time, Full Time, Per Diem; First, Second, and Overnight; including weekends.

You will assist with daily living, activities, and community participation. Requirements include a high school diploma, at least one year of caregiver experience, valid driver's license with insured vehicle, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience as a caregiver or with individuals with disabilities is required.
• Preferred CPR/First Aid, PMT, and DDS MedCert.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of service to the individuals served and follow each individual's overall plan of service.
• Assist individuals with daily living skills and ensure adherence with activity schedule (cooking, cleaning, outings).
• Support development and maintenance of independent functioning in areas like sensory-motor, cognition, personal care, hygiene.
• Complete required documentation and participate in the Overall Plan of Service.
• Must be able to use personal vehicle for transporting individuals to outings or medical appointments (mileage reimbursed).
