Job summary

Lapeer County Community Mental Health seeks a Direct Service Worker to support adults in day program services. You will supervise participants, implement individual plans, and assist with daily activities and transportation.

Qualifications

• High school graduation required.
• Entry level; prior mental health disability experience preferred.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license required.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise consumers during program activities (on site and community outings).
• Carry out daily program plans per individual service plan and supervisor instructions.
• Provide transportation services when necessary.
• Assist with personal care needs of persons served.
• Assist with administration of medication as prescribed.
