Job summary
Lifehouse Inc. in Marin, CA is seeking dedicated Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) staff to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home-like group settings. The role involves assisting with daily living, monitoring health needs, and promoting independence in a team-driven environment.
This in-person position covers San Rafael and Novato locations, with Friday–Sunday availability preferred. Competitive pay at $25 per hour, comprehensive benefits, and a mission-driven nonprofit
Qualifications
- Must have friendly, helpful attitude.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- CA driver's license required and a valid driving record.
- Registered vehicle with valid insurance.
- Ability to pass fingerprint clearance.
- TB test clearance required.
Responsibilities
- Assist the people you support with personal care and daily living activities.
- Ensure the highest level of independence and quality of life for the people you support.
- Support community integration and development of social skills through recreational activities.
- Monitor medication and accompany the people you support to medical appointments.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and third-party agencies.
- Participate in team meetings and training opportunities.
