Description:

The direct care aide will overseedaily activities with the program students. When on duty they will carry outthe daily schedule to promote the smooth functioning of the residentialprogram.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the home and dailyoperations within the facility.
• Assist the PD, Dean, and LeadProgram Guide in compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Provide compassionate spiritualleadership to students through prayer and direct spiritual guidance.
• Cover shifts when other direct carestaff are absent.
• Administer and oversee disciplinarymeasures and procedures that focus on fostering life transformation in eachstudent, guided by Christian principles and values.
• Facilitate compassionate andeffective communication, serving as a bridge between parents and the programwith a spirit of Christian care and understanding.
• Maintain weekly Mentor meetings andparent communication for all assigned students.
• Maintain and document student’sprogress, meetings, and communication with parents.
• Report facility maintenance needs toPD.
• Coordinate student passes and enterplans into the pass document.

Requirements
