Job summary

South Central Behavioral Health Clinic, Buffalo City Transitional Living is seeking a Direct Care Associate for adult clients in Jamestown, ND.

No experience required; on-site training provided.

Buffalo City TL is seeking dedicated Direct Care Associates to join our team. We are hiring for multiple different shift positions.

As a Direct Care Associate, you will connect with clients and support them on their recovery journey.

Each day, you will aid individuals to identify their goals for recovery, learning, and life. You will assist in generalizing the skills clients learn during substance use and mental health groups. You will work with clients to develop effective communication and socialization skills, as well as teach self‑advocacy and self‑help strategies. You will observe and monitor individuals' condition, documenting and reporting any changes in well‑being. You will also assist clients in the administration of their medication.

You will thrive in this position, if you are an empathetic individual and have a passion for teaching individuals life skills and how to overcome barriers that may be present in their lives.

Requirements
