Job summary

The Maryland Department of Health's SETT program at the Potomac Center campus in Hagerstown seeks a Nursing Assistant to support adults with intellectual disabilities. Responsibilities include helping residents achieve personal outcomes, completing required training, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations in a secure, respectful setting.

Qualifications

Six months of experience in care, treatment, habilitation or rehabilitation of patients/clients.
Substitution of experience for education allowed year-for-year for up to four years of required education.
Preferred experience with developmental or intellectually disabled populations.

Responsibilities

Helping each person served meet their personal outcomes.
Complete all Inservice Training modules inclusive of classroom, demonstrated competencies and CNA-related.
Full compliance with applicable policies and procedures related to Individual care and identified Outcomes and measures.
Provision of quality services in areas such as equipment utilization, data collection, personal hygiene, and programming.
Matching newly-acquired skills to enhance growth and development of persons served per IP goals.
Discharging duties per regulations, standards, policies, and procedures including Maryland regulations and CNA requirements.
