The State of Maryland is seeking a Nursing Assistant at MDH-John L Gildner RICA in Rockville, MD to ensure a safe environment for competency students/patients and support attainment services. The role involves independent responsibilities, behavior monitoring, and reporting to the treatment team during rotating day or night shifts.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, two years of relevant care experience, and state nursing assistant certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 2 years in care, treatment, habilitation or rehabilitation of patients/clients incl. youths or those with behavioral health needs.
• Notes: additional direct-care experience can substitute education on a year-for-year basis.
• Military service in health fields may substitute for required experience.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a safe environment for staff and students/patients.
• Monitor groups of competency students/patients.
• Report behaviors to the treatment team.
• Rotating day (7A-3:30P) and/or night (2:30P-11P) shifts.
