Job summary

Birchaven in Findlay, Ohio, is seeking a nurse aide to support licensed staff in assisted living. You will provide direct care, assist with personal needs, and ensure resident comfort under supervision.

Duties include preparing rooms, restocking supplies, and reporting changes to nursing staff, while upholding Birchaven policies and resident rights.

This role requires a minimum age of 16, strong communication, and willingness to perform physical tasks as described; a $500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to assess resident needs and aging-related changes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility tasks.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge to provide resident care and report changes.
• Provide direct resident care and room preparation as directed by nursing staff.
• Order and restock resident care supplies as needed.
• Promote resident satisfaction by upholding the organization's mission and values.
• Follow policies, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in other tasks as directed by Nurse, DON, or ADON.
