Job summary

Region Ten Community Services Board is seeking a Community Services Associate A - Nelson for the Town Creek Assisted Living facility in Lovingston, VA. The role reports to the Program Manager II and involves direct care, safety, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and Direct Care Aide certification; prior long-term care experience is preferred. Valid VA driver's license and required trainings are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
• Certification as Direct Care Aide required.
• One (1) year of direct care work experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license with acceptable driving record; personal vehicle insurance; First Aid, CPR and medication management training.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to residents in the Town Creek Assisted Living facility.
• Maintain safe conditions for consumers and provide general care and supervision.
• Refer questionable situations to supervisor and act within standard practices.
• Comply with Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services regulations and Region Ten policies.
