Qualifications

  • Ability to work with C‑Suite contacts at medical groups; working knowledge of issues in large medical groups.
  • Polished communication, presentation, and critical-thinking skills with senior executives.
  • Ability to interface with diverse disciplines and senior-level management.
  • Time management and autonomy with self-motivation to achieve goals.
  • Sound judgment in identifying issues and escalating as needed.
  • Salesforce CRM proficiency.
  • Travel required.

We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Dir I Relationship Management (Hybrid) on our MMX Sales team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.

As a Dir I Relationship Management, you will develop and manage strategies to achieve deeper engagement and increase retention with current group partner accounts to ensure group membership benefits are activated by each partner. Act as point of contact for all customer service needs and develop effective solutions. Develop tailored solutions with other business units to increase overall AMA engagement with current and prospective partners. Support group membership growth strategies through identification of customer insights that lead to enhancements or new additions to group value proposition.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Management

  • Responsible for developing and articulating the account management strategy
  • Build and nurture
    relationships with current and new Group Membership accounts by establishing
    communication with leadership contact responsible for fulfillment of each groupmembership benefit
  • Communication to
    C‑Suite and Executive leadership at accounts including updates on benefit
    fulfillment, new resources, inquiries into overallcustomer satisfaction, and reminders and invites to participate in added value programs or
    events
  • Responsible for fulfillment of large group membership benefitsacross AMA BusinessUnits to ensure successful execution
  • Create, review, and enhance processesfor account management and execution of value proposition
  • Maintain and update all account management materials and reports;all activity and outreach to accounts and contacts to be documented
    and tracked in Salesforce
  • Provide supportto membership operations for collection of contracts and rosters to ensure timely processing of membership

Business Development

  • Drive membership
    and mission engagement expansion by serving as the voice of both current and
    prospective AMA target accounts and identifying existing and emergent needs of the target audience
  • Collaborate in competitive analysisdevelopment through insightscaptured during customeraccount interactions
  • Proactively supportsubject matter experts (SME's) Offer ideas regarding new products and product
    enhancements to maximize future acquisition opportunities and customer
    satisfaction
  • Attend exhibitsand networking opportunities at meetings/ conferences/ events where group
    membership is presented
  • Contribute to roster expansion through proactively following up with accountsto identify opportunities

People Management

  • Lead, mentor,and provide management oversight for professional staff; identify opportunities for advancing staff skills and expertise
  • Responsible for settingobjectives, evaluating performance, and developing staff

May include other responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
  1. Bachelor's degree in health-related field or business required.
  2. Minimum of 10 years' experience in business-to-business customerservice and accountmanagement experience required.
  3. 3+ years experience in people management required; able to attract and develop talent.
  4. In-depth understanding of all physician group practice settingenvironments required; established industry contacts in the
    targeted marketplace preferred.
  5. Demonstrated abilityto work with C‑Suite contactsat medical groupsand working knowledge of issues and concerns that large medical
    groups are facing in current environment.
  6. Polished communication, presentation, and criticalthinking skills with the abilityto clearly articulate complex concepts to senior
    executives.
  7. Demonstrated abilityto interface effectively with people of varying disciplines, backgrounds, and
    expertise, including senior‑level management.
  8. Demonstrated abilityto manage time and prioritize tasks; demonstrated abilityto work with autonomy and self‑motivate to achieve individual and
    organizational goals.
  9. Sound judgmentin identifying issues,recommending resolutions, and escalating for management attention.
  10. Highly Proficient in Salesforce CRM required.
  11. Travel required.

This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $146,384- $197,728. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration and geographical location, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
