Job summary

Laurel Ridge Treatment Center, a large behavioral health facility in North San Antonio, seeks a Director of Engineering / Plant Operations to lead maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and grounds, implement schedules, and supervise a team of staff and contractors to ensure a safe, healing environment for patients and employees.

5-8 years of experience in facility or high regulatory setting preferred
Knowledge of behavioral health management state and federal regulatory requirements
Valid Texas Driver License
Proven leadership experience

Develops and implements maintenance schedules for equipment, buildings, and grounds

The Director of Engineering / Plant Operations

is a key member of the Laurel Ridge Treatment Center Leadership Team who ensures the maintenance of a safe, clean, healing environment for patients and staff including regulatory compliance and Life Safety. Strong project management skills, leadership skills, communication skills, and working knowledge of behavioral health care safety regulatory standards and construction protocol. The Director of Engineering / Plant Operations serves as the facility Subject Matter Expert on environment of care, building and engineering codes, maintenancce and opereations of HVAC equipment plumbing, eletrical, carpentry, and grounds maintenance.

Qualifications
