Job summary

Laurel Ridge Treatment Center in North San Antonio, a 330-bed behavioral health care facility, seeks a Director of Engineering / Plant Operations to lead maintenance, Life Safety, and regulatory compliance. You will manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and grounds, oversee staff and contractors, and ensure a safe healing environment for patients and staff.

The role requires strong project management, leadership, and knowledge of behavioral health safety standards; Texas driver license is required.

Qualifications

5–8 years of experience in facility or high regulatory setting preferred.
Knowledge of behavioral health management state and federal regulatory requirements.
Valid Texas Driver License.
Proven leadership experience.
Proven ability to manage projects.

Managing facility assets, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
Develops and implements maintenance schedules for equipment, buildings, and grounds.
Responsible for Environment of Care, Life Safety, and facility Safety Officer.

Laurel Ridge Treatment Center is a beautiful 29 acre and 330 bed Behavioral Health Care facility in North San Antonio.

The Director of Engineering / Plant Operations is a key member of the Laurel Ridge Treatment Center Leadership Team who ensures the maintenance of a safe, clean, healing environment for patients and staff including regulatory compliance and Life Safety. Strong project management skills, leadership skills, communication skills, and working knowledge of behavioral health care safety regulatory standards and construction protocol. The Director of Engineering / Plant Operations serves as the facility Subject Matter Expert on environment of care, building and engineering codes, maintenancce and opereations of HVAC equipment plumbing, eletrical, carpentry, and grounds maintenance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include:
