You’ll oversee menus, purchasing, budgeting, inventory, compliance, and daily operations, ensuring nutritious, high-quality meals every day and a positive dining experience.

You will collaborate with district leaders and staff, guiding a team of about 21 client employees.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nutrition/Management/Hospitality/Culinary preferred or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of foodservice management experience.
• Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed services experience.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills.

Job Summary

DIRECTOR OF DINING SERVICES – Washougal School District, Washougal, WA
Lead a student-focused dining program serving approximately 2,100 students across five schools in beautiful Washougal, WA. As Director of Dining Services, you'll oversee all areas of the program, including menus, food purchasing, budgeting, inventory, compliance, and daily operations, ensuring students receive nutritious, high-quality meals every day. Your leadership will help create a positive dining experience that supports student success and strengthens the school community.

You'll work closely with district leaders, principals, and school staff while supporting a team of approximately 21 frontline client employees. We're looking for an energetic, people-focused leader who enjoys building relationships, finding creative solutions, and bringing fresh ideas to school nutrition. If you're passionate about feeding students and making a meaningful impact, this is a great opportunity to lead a successful NSLP program and have fun doing it!
