Responsibilities

• Create neoprene-based products by stripping, poking, sorting, washing, pre-dipping, and inspecting.
• Switch mandrels during rotational changes and store them properly.
• Check mandrels and racks for foreign material and debris during dipping.
• Operate high-pressure washer to remove rubber and residue.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety policies.
• Meet performance metrics for quantity, accuracy, timeliness.

• Pay Range: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour

• Shift: 1st Shift

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm (Must have the ability to work overtime hours)

Your Role in Our Mission

• Tocreate all neoprene-based products by stripping, poking, sorting, washing,pre-dipping, and inspecting according to quality cleanliness standards.

• Maintains efficiency of dipping operations by: Switchingout mandrels during a rotational mandrel chance and placing them in properstorage area; performing duties of leach line operator; assisting with thedraining, cleaning, and filling of tanks when necessary.

• Maintains quality standards of product by: Checkingmandrels and racks for foreign material, water, and pieces or rubber atvarious points during dipping operations; scraping off dried pre-dip runs onthe back of the mandrels; removing miscellaneous junk from production line;operating high-pressure washer to ensure mandrels are free from excess rubberand residue.

• Maintains safe and clean workenvironment by: Operatingall machinery in a safe and efficient manner; reporting any safety hazards toassigned supervisor or safety manager; complying with all safety and qualitypolicies, practices and procedures; assuring compliance with all regulatoryrequirements including workplace safety, OSHA, etc. Wears steel toed shoes and hearingprotection in the proper places. Makessure trash cans are taken out, floors are clean, and generalhousekeeping.

• Maintain quality service by: Keepingerror rates minimal and within acceptable ranges; maintaining an efficientwork pace; meeting and exceeding all performance measurements: quantity,accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of work performed.

• Contributes to team effort by: Maintaining a good attendance record; accomplishingrelated results as needed.

• Highlight cross-functional collaboration and ownership.

• Emphasize continuous improvement and efficiency.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or general education degree(GED) preferred.

• Must be skill checked on 1 position within theassigned department within 30 days of hire.

• Abilityto read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognizesimilarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Pay Transparency

The expected pay range for this role is $18.00 - $18.50 per hour. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
