Job summary

Chi-Chack LLC is seeking a Spouse Training Program Instructor for the Joint Military Attache School (JMAS) at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. The role is full-time, exempt, with on-site duties and potential travel, reporting to the On-Site Project/Capstone Exercise Lead.

The instructor designs, publishes, and delivers lessons per SOPs, mentors students, and supports accreditation activities with COE/IACET. Requires a relevant degree, federal government experience, and spouse-program familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• One complete and successful tour as the spouse of an Attache, Defense Liaison Officer, Assistant Defense Attache, Operations Coordinator (OPSCO), or Operations Coordinator NCO.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in federal government environments.
• Demonstrated experience in an educational or training context with an emphasis on adult learning.

Responsibilities

• Instruct with authority over Defense Attaché Service topics.
• Design, publish and present instructional lessons meeting SOPs and standards.
• Coach and mentor STP students on spouse roles, representation, communication and security.
• Occasionally serve as Course Director to administer and evaluate blocks of instruction.
• Coordinate with external agencies, schedule meetings/trainings/briefings, and manage contacts.
• Review educational materials before each class iteration.
• Coordinate with exercise Role Players and faculty to assess performance against objectives.
• Contribute to accreditation efforts with COE, IACET and other bodies.
• Manage CEU accreditation tasks under IACET standards.
• Assist with student registration, attendance, and security paperwork.
• Support Young Diplomats Program and JMAS collaborations.
