Job summary

Acuity International seeks a Protective Security Specialist to protect personnel in high-threat environments and provide medical care in austere settings. Responsibilities include convoy operations, casualty care, and rapid response as part of WPS III task orders.

Qualified candidates hold US citizenship, EMS credentials, and English fluency, with active training in protective security and weapons qualification. DOE/Pep requirements include medical clearance and PR testing.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Active or inactive NREMT paramedic certification; valid and active prior to deployment and throughout.
• CPR Professional Rescuer or BLS/ACLS with ILS/PHTLS credentials.
• Minimum 3 years EMS experience at AEMT/paramedic level; military medical service may count.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and U.S. Passport with 6+ months remaining.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, writing, communication).
• Pass pre-employment PRT.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced emergency medical care to personnel as directed.
• Perform day-to-day personal protective security duties.
• Drive lead/principal/response vehicles during motorcade operations.
• Maintain protective formation positions during movements.
• Participate in security preparations.
• Staff security posts at residences or command posts as required.
