Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring an on-site Dining Technology & Systems Intern in Rochester, NY. Pay is $18.00/hour with schedule TBD based on class needs.

The internship develops hands-on skills in technology troubleshooting, digital signage, menu programming, and service-ticket coordination within a hospitality setting. Gain experience across multiple dining locations, working with leadership and operations teams to implement tech solutions and support daily dining

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot dining technology, software, and equipment issues.
• Program and maintain digital menus and digital signage.
• Assist with menu and system programming across dining platforms.
• Coordinate, track, and follow up on technology service tickets.
• Assist staff with basic technology support and system questions.
• Test system updates and new technology implementations.
• Assist with identifying and resolving technology issues that impact daily dining operations.
• Communicate with vendors and support teams regarding technology issues and service requests.
• Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date system information.
• Provide operational support for dining technology and serving platforms.
• Assist with technology-related projects, upgrades, and new system implementations.
• Work with different areas of the operation, including Front of House, Back of House, Catering, Marketing, and Administration.
