Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Dining Supervisor to lead frontline dining operations at our location in Grand Rapids, MI. You will oversee front end production, ensure safety and service standards, and support cash handling procedures with the management team.

The role requires prior foodservice experience, strong customer service skills, and proven leadership abilities. This full-time position offers growth opportunities and a team-driven environment with extensive training.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary/foodservice experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Successful team leadership experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front end production.
• Follow opening procedures, including opening and handling cash drawers.
• Comply with all policies and procedures, including but not limited to food and physical safety programs.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. customer issues, cleanliness, safety concerns or security concerns).
• Follow all safety requirements at accounts.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
• Perform any other duties as specified by management.
