Job summary

Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg is seeking a Dining Services Retail Supervisor for a full-time opportunity. You will oversee cafe, JRG and Main Dining Room operations, supervise staff, manage cash controls, and ensure high standards of food quality and guest service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a hospitality-related degree preferred, 2–4 years in food service supervision, and Serve Safe/ABC certifications or the ability to obtain them within six months.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED required.
• Hospitality degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years in food service and supervisory roles.
• Minimum 2 years planning catered events.
• Serve Safe certificate and ABC manager certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Knowledge of HACCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cafe, JRG, and Main Dining Room duties including service and food prep.
• Lead and supervise dining operations, enforce policies, and manage cash controls.
• Train new employees and delegate daily tasks to ensure optimal service.
• Direct cleaning, record keeping, and HACCP inspections for quality standards.
• Maintain equipment safety and report malfunctions; ensure food safety procedures.
