Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services seeks a Food Service Manager to lead dining operations in correctional facilities, developing menus, coaching staff, and ensuring safety, sanitation and quality while meeting client needs.

You will oversee frontline teams, manage cost controls and P&L considerations, and collaborate with departments to deliver a high-quality dining experience within Aramark guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of experience in a management role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial relationships.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop dining team to meet client expectations.
• Oversee safety, sanitation, and compliance in dining operations.
• Identify client needs and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Monitor and improve financial performance, including P&L management and cost controls.
• Ensure production, quality, and service standards are met across dining operations.
• Coordinate with other departments to deliver a unified dining experience.
