Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) invites you to join a 16-week, paid Dining Services Manager in Training program designed to develop you to manage and oversee dining services in a healthcare setting. The program blends hands-on work with computer-based learning to build leadership and operations skills.

You’ll gain exposure to service excellence for residents and staff alike. As you progress, you’ll learn to manage dining operations, ensure health and safety standards, participate in staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must obtain FPM, FSM, LTC-FSM, and CDM/CFPP certifications during the development program.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Residency within the service area required.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation, service, and quality control.
• Learn to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Residency within the service area required.
